Oviya of Class VIII from Stansford International Higher Secondary School in Moolakulam won the National Child Award for Exceptional Achievement for 2012, for her artistic abilities. The award was presented by President Pranab Mukherjee in New Delhi. B.
Aswin of Class X from St. Mary’s Sacred Heart English High School in Brindavan has been selected by the NCERT to display an exhibit at the Jawaharlal Nehru National Science, Mathematics and Environment Exhibition (JNNSMEE-2012), to be held at Silvassa, Dadra and Nagar Haveli this year. Around 700 entries were submitted for the exhibition, of which 150 were chosen.
