The Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research will conduct a walk-in selection for admission to eight vacant seats in MD Anatomy (3 seats), MD Biochemistry (2 seats), MD Forensic Medicine (2 seats) and MD Microbiology (1 seat) for the academic year 2012, a release said.
Registration will be held on June 22 from 8:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. Candidates with 50 per cent marks or above in UR/OBC/INST and 40 per cent marks or above for SC/ST in the JIPMER MD/MS entrance examination 2012 are eligible to attend, the release said.
The JIPMER has also invited applications for four M.Sc. and nine B.Sc. courses, including M.Sc. nursing, M.Sc. medical biochemistry, M.Sc. MLT microbiology, B.Sc. nursing, B.Sc. perfusion technology and C.Sc. nuclear medicine technology for the August 2012 session.
Applicants could download the prospectus, application form and hall tickets from the JIPMER website. Filled-in application forms along with the Demand Draft should be sent in by June 20, the release said.
