Freedom Jam in Pondichery from January 26, 2012

The 9th annual FREEDOM JAM - PONDY MUSIC FESTIVAL will be held during the Republic Day weekend on 26, 27th January (indian/fusion @ Gandhi square) and 28, 29th January (western/pop-rock-metal-alt-jazz,etc @ Alliance Francaise).

A variety of different styles of music,... from folk n classical to rock metal jazz, will be presented at different venues along the Pondicherry Beach Road promenade. A few slots are still open so interested bands please register at "www.freedomjam.in" (fb/g+/shitter registrations invalid)

January is 'the season' to visit Pondy; soak in the winter sun by the beach, soothe your soul with traditional spirituality, fine dine on gourmet cuisine and enjoy the cosmopolitan culture in a not so sleepy French town. Freedom Jam - Pondy Music Festival is the cherry on the pie. Just be there, don't ask why.
