A total of 9,530 candidates wrote UDC exam on 30th September 2012 in Puducherry, Karaikal, nam and Mahe. The candidates were appearing for 119 UDC posts and 35 Senior Clerk positions that are vacant in Puducherry. Results will be announced on 01-10-2012. Pondicherry UDC and Senior Clerk 2012 Exam date

Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms (Personnel Wing), Government of Pondicherry has announced date for UDC and Senior Clerk 2012 Common Exam in a press note on August 31, 2012

The Common Written Competitive Examination for recruitment to the posts of Upper Division Clerk and Senior Clerk notified by this Department vide Notification No.A-34012/1/2012/DP&AR(Exam) dated 20-4-2012 is scheduled to be conducted on 30-09-2012 (Sunday) from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon in all the regions (Puducherry / Karaikal / Mahe / Yanam) of the Union Territory of Puducherry. Competitive Exam will be in Objective type mode. It covers General Maths, Science, English, Indian History, Geography, Indian Economics, Indian Political System, General knowledge & Current affairs. Negative mark system is applicable. Questions will be in English and Regional Language.
