Recruitment for the post of fireman and fireman driver

The written tests for recruitment to the posts of fireman and fireman driver Gr. III will be held on 28th October, according to Vivek Pandey, Secretary to government, Fire Service.

In a statement, he said the examination for fireman would be held in 3 centres such as Puducherry, Karaikal and Mahe between 10:00 AM and 12:00 Noon. Examination for fireman driver Gr. III would be held only in Puducherry between 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Hall ticket and identification certificates had been dispatched by register post to all candidates, who were qualified in physical measurement and physical efficiency test for fireman and physical measurement and competency test for fireman driver Gr. III.

Mr. Pandey said control room would function from 22nd to 28th October at the 3rd floor, A.R. Wing of Chief Secretariat in Puducherry. Those, who did not get call letters, might approach the control room for issue of duplicate admit card. They should bring all necessary documents.
