National & International Book Fair in Pondicherry

The Puducherry Co-operative Book Society and Puducherry Writers Book Society are jointly organising the 16th National and 1st International Book Fair 2012 in Puducherry from December 19 to 30 at Vel Sokkanathan Marriage Hall.

Chief Minister N Rangasamy would inaugurate the fair at 5:30 PM on December 19, 2012. He will release 16 new books on the occasion. More than 104 publishers, distributors and sellers from will take part. Many people would be honored with the Book Seva Award 2012 at the book fair.

International book fair in Pondicherry

The Puducherry Co-operative Book Society and Puducherry Writers Association have proposed to conduct an International Book Fair in Pondicherry for 12 days, from 19th to 30th December 2012.

International book fair is expected to have a collection of more than 1 lakh books published by various publishers. International book fair will be inaugurated by Chief Minister N. Rangasamy. P. Rajavelu, Minister for Tourism, T. Thiyagarajan, Minister for Culture, V. Vaithilingam and Leader of the Opposition will release new books at the inaugural function.
